What are my hobbies ?

Having fun is important in life. Very important. I am a bicyclist and do a lot of MOUNTAIN BIKING, cross country and single track. I am also an avid MODEL RAILROADER. I have spent more than a few hours in my basement working on my layout. In addition to that, I enjoy watching real TRAINS. I often plan my vacations with at least some connection to trains. Perhaps it may be a side trip to the Union Pacific main line through Nebraska, a little jaunt down to the SANTA FE main (My Favorite Rail Road--I cannot bring myself to call it the BNSF) in New Mexico or perhaps a visit to the TEHACHAPI LOOP or Cajon Pass in California. Colorado has also got some terrific sights as well. I also enjoy POETRY and foreign movies. I am a musician and I love the SYMPHONY. I also enjoy MUSICALS and the CANADIAN BRASS . I have played TUBA for many years and for a while, was able to make a little money at it which helped with my undergraduate expenses. But most of all, I enjoy my family. I have been married since 1988 and I have two teenage kids. I was born in July, so you know my sign. It's NEON! Also, I have written a few short stories. One is a kids book about the life of a Wheat Penny, and the other is a dark story of Fenster, told from a very different point of view that states my view of Grace. The follow up story is called A Brief Description of Eternity.
